I painted this landscape from the balcony of my first apartment the last week before I moved out. The first week moving in, I wrote about the "key shaped cul-de-sac" in my journal.  While living without your family for one of the first times can be daunting, that balcony served as a safe place for me to watch the world around. So, in order to preserve its memory I chose to digitally paint my perspective of the balcony and that key shaped cul-de-sac.
