“Cozy Collage” Premium Print

An original design from a monotype print made during my time at UofL's Hite Art Institute. Exploring what brings people comfort and why we seek it, highlighting some of my own comforting objects. Ink was first laid on a flat surface, and using q-tips, brushes, and other fine tools I sculpted the ink away to reveal the design. Then paper was laid on top of the inked surface and ran through a printing press to arrive at the final print.
